We are seeking an experienced Senior Reliability EngineerOur ideal candidate is a versatile engineering professional, with superior skills and experience in the optimization of procedure improvement and a willingness to work in a dynamic, on-site pharmaceutical project environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & stewardship of site-wide Reliability Program.
  • Champions and leads Reliability Engineering initiatives at the site level and serves as HTO point of contact for Reliability Engineering initiatives at the network level. 
  • Technical Representative for Regulatory Agency audits.
  • Contribute to site-wide Reliability Engineering strategy.
  • Perform Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop corrective actions & preventive actions (CAPA) associated with failures, events, abnormal conditions, maintenance execution issues, costs, etc.
  • Develop partnerships with site Engineering, Maintenance, Technology, Manufacturing, and Quality functions, as well as Roche network partners, to deliver enterprise value.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior engineers and interns working within the site.
  • Responsible for completion of technical assessments, investigations, and data analysis
  • Apply theories and principles of Reliability, Project Management, Lean and Six Sigma to address problems of a complex nature.
  • Employ traditional predictive maintenance methods (such as tribology, thermography, vibration, ultrasound, etc.,) and leverage emerging digital tools (such as analytics, modeling, etc.) 
  • Serve as functional lead for initiatives and strategy development related to Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) and Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO).
  • Develop and deploy site Asset Life Cycle Management (ALCM) and equipment performance monitoring programs.
  • Review and update site equipment redundancy strategy.
  • Ensure integration of environment, health, safety and security into the business process, systems, and programs while reporting safety and environmental incidents including injuries, illnesses, and safety suggestions within one’s functional area. Foster a positive safety culture in which no one gets hurt.
  • Conduct risk assessments on production and utility equipment utilizing PHA, FMEA and other techniques.
  • Management of CMMS data integrity and execution of Reliability Centered Maintenance Improvements.
  • Use of reliability tools and processes such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Uses data to recommend improvements based on CMMS, FMEA, RCA and systems reliability data. 
  • Accountable to effectively apply PdM technologies and non-destructing testing to minimize unscheduled/scheduled maintenance downtime. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering preferred or B.S. degree in an Engineering related field.
  • 7 years of experience in an engineering management role in support of a large industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or FDA regulated facility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability Engineering concepts such as TPM, RCM, RBI, FMEA and RCFA experience with process improvement principles such as Lean and/or Six Sigma.
  • Demonstrated experience in Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound Scanning, Infrared Scanning, Oil Analysis, Eddy Current, Liquid Penetrating testing, Dynamic/Static Motor Current testing.
  • Proficiency in Power BI. 
  • Experience with Quality Management and Change Control Systems.
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility.
  • Knowledge & experience in the operations and maintenance of utility systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Financial experience with high level budgetary responsibilities.
